Took a few days to adjust to the sharp mint flavor of Synadentix, but my gum pockets are actually shrinking

I bought Synadentix about three months ago because I was struggling with swollen gums and constantly failing my pocket depth checks at the dentist. The first thing I noticed is that the mint flavor is extremely potent. It actually made my eyes water the first couple of mornings, and the texture is a little chalkier than I expected for an oral chewable. I almost gave up, but I decided to start taking it right before bed instead of in the morning so I wouldn't clash with my coffee. I am so glad I stuck with it. I just had my six-month cleaning yesterday, and my hygienist immediately asked what I had changed in my daily routine. My bleeding during the exam was practically nonexistent, and several of my 4mm pockets had reduced to 3mm. I'm leaving off one star just because the initial flavor hit is so overwhelming, but the actual benefits for my teeth and gums are absolutely worth the adjustment period.
