I've struggled with brittle, discolored nails ever since a bad acrylic removal a few years ago. It distributes a very fine layer of the oils directly over the cuticle and under the edge of the nail, and it actually absorbs within a minute or two. After about six weeks of doing this consistently, the new nail growth at the base is coming in completely clear and looking much healthier. The scent is slightly herbal but fades quickly.
