Taking two Sugarmute tablets after dinner stops the dessert hunt

I have always struggled with evening snacking, especially right after putting the kids to bed. That is usually my time to raid the pantry for chocolate or cookies. I started taking Sugarmute about three weeks ago, specifically keeping the bottle right on the kitchen counter so I remember it after dinner. The herbal taste takes a little getting used to—it is earthy and slightly bitter—but if I take two of these tablets with a large glass of water at 7 PM, I genuinely do not want anything sweet by 8 PM. It is like the switch in my brain just turns off. I even tried eating a piece of candy out of habit last Tuesday, and it tasted strangely bland, which completely ruined the appeal.
