I usually train early in the morning before my kids wake up, and it is always a struggle to get moving in a freezing cold garage. I started mixing just half a scoop of Alpha Surge about twenty minutes before I lift, and the difference is exactly what I was looking for. It does not hit you with that aggressive, skin-crawling feeling that a lot of other pre-workouts rely on. Instead, it just wakes my brain up and gives me a sustained physical drive that lasts through a heavy forty-five-minute session. I did try a full scoop once, but it was honestly a bit too intense for my caffeine tolerance level, so I strongly suggest starting with a smaller dose to see how your body reacts. The blue raspberry flavor is decent, though it takes a solid minute of shaking to dissolve completely in cold water. Overall, it is a very reliable addition to my morning routine and the tub is going to last me twice as long at this dosage.
